Former True Blood hunk Joe Manganiello popped the question to the Modern Family star on the very auspicious Christmas Day, while on a vacation with her family at Hawaii. The 42 year old star was spotted on their Hawaiian getaway sporting a massive rock on the ring finger that unmistakably looks like an engagement ring. After breaking up her engagement with Nick Loeb in May, Sofia Vergara started dating actor Joe Manganiello and in just six months of courting the actress is already off the market. When questioned Loeb about the surprising news he was all admiration for his ex and was quoted saying,"She is beautiful and majestic and therefore deserves to be loved. Beyond all else in life she deserves happiness, the kind that only true love can bring." She certainly seems to have got it. The charming couple looks ecstatic and in love which can sure be seen in the poolside photographs of their vacation on the tropical island. Earlier this month there were speculations about the couple’s engagement, as the 38 year old Hollywood star was seen buying a $640 rose ring for his beautiful lady love. The news comes as no surprise for the engagement proposal turned to be true, though the engagement ring most certainly wasn’t the same. How could we expect the gorgeous actress to be swooped off so simply? The real engagement ring that the diva sports is a huge halo ring with rectangular diamond in the center and appears to be 10 carats approximately, surrounded by more bling of smaller diamonds set on a platinum band. The Modern Family star is occasionally seen wearing diamond rings to promote her brand… “So Sofia for Kay jeweler”. However this ring is nothing like friendly or cocktail rings that Sofia Vergara is usually seen adorning which confirms to the fact that this is her radiant cut engagement ring. This is the first nuptials for the Hollywood hunk, but for Sofia Vergara it is the second go, she had previously been married to Joe Gonzalez from 1991 to 1993 and has a 21-year-old son, Manolo.
