Cristiano Ronaldo Presented With Diamond Encrusted Gold Boots By Nike

What more can we expect when the mega brand Nike and the stylish football legend come unite? Every time we talk about Cristiano Ronaldo, his ALS Ice bucket challenge comes to our mind. Oh my my! What a perfectly sculpted human! We know you can’t get enough of him ladies, and just in case you thought Ronaldo couldn’t possibly get any flashier with those neatly manicured eyebrows, a wonderful tan, oh so phenomenal abs, and glossy diamond earrings , well then guess what…you were wrong. The Real Madrid Superstar will be soon playing in diamonds. Oh yes you heard that right! After winning his third Ballon d’Or crown and winning the title of the best player on the planet, their sponsor Nike has decided to pay homage to the sports maestro Cristiano Ronaldo by exclusively designing him his very own pair of unique gold CR7 boots encrusted with diamonds to celebrate his hat trick of the Ballon d’Or trophies. The boots are named “Mercurial CR7 Rare Gold”. The boots are encrusted with real loose diamonds  and crafted in gold which have been hand applied as a tribute to Ronaldo’s remorseless work ethic. The Nike head was quoted saying “Gold was selected as the main color on the boot because gold is earned. Ronaldo earned his golden award with tremendous play for club and country. As a tribute to Ronaldo’s work ethic, Nike added a special touch to the Mercurial CR7 Rare Gold. For the first time in Nike history, micro diamonds have been applied by hand to the CR7 logo of the boot.” Undoubtedly, Cristiano Ronaldo has been a legend and truly deserves it. The 29 year old sure tops the rank of greatest players on the planet after scoring 52 goals in 43 games in 2014 and dazzling defense with his tempo, strength, and smooth moves.  After winning the award, he said: “It's been an unforgettable year. To win this trophy, a trophy of this kind, is something unique and all I can say is I want to continue working as I have so far, trying to go on to more titles - individual and as a team - for my mother, my father who is up there looking at there any my son. I can see my mother, my family. I would like to thank all those who voted for me. My coach, my fellow player, the president of my club. I want to get better as the days go by. I want to say to all the Portuguese that I never thought I could win this trophy on three different occasions.” And if you are thinking they are just for show, well no! Cristiano Ronaldo will be seen wearing the classy diamond and gold boots for the second leg of Real Madrid’s Copa del Rey tie against Atletico Madrid on Thursday. We won’t be surprised if an Atletico player asks to swap yellow gold  boots with Ronaldo instead of shirts after Thursday’s match.
