The state was named after the River “Iowa” which is an Indian word, meaning "one who puts to sleep" or "beautiful land". Iowa is bordered by two parallel rivers namely Missouri and Mississippi which paints an extraordinary view overall. The breathtaking scenery of Iowa was shot in the movies like “Field of Dreams”, “Bridges of Madison Country”.
