Is this 2 carat diamond certified?
Yes. Every 2 carat diamond in our collection is certified by the leading gemological lab, ensuring authenticity and transparency in grading. Additionally, every diamond is laser-inscribed with its respective certificate number, serving as a unique identifier.
Can I see the diamond certificate or grading report?
Yes, all diamonds at Fascinating Diamonds are sold with a grading report from the GIA, which contains every significant detail, including the diamond’s 4Cs, proportions, and clarity plot. To view the certificate for a specific 2 carat diamond before purchase, please call us or email our team, and we’ll be happy to share it with you.
What is the price per carat?
The price range per carat depends on the cut, color, clarity, and shape of the diamond. For reference, our 2 carat diamonds are priced starting around $5,250 and can exceed $20,000.
Why does a particular 2 carat diamond cost more/less than another?
A 2 carat diamond may cost more/less than another because the final price depends on multiple factors other than the carat, including cut, color, clarity, shape, formation type (natural or lab-grown), certification, and light performance. For instance, a round diamond typically costs more than an oval or cushion cut of the same carat weight and quality.
How big does it look compared to its carat weight?
A 2 carat diamond appears significantly larger than a 1 carat diamond, but it’s not double its size. The overall visual appearance also varies with the shape. For instance, a round cut 2 carat diamond has around an 8.1mm diameter. However, elongated shapes like oval, pear, and marquise cuts of 2 carats appear much larger due to their greater surface area. If you want a 2 carat diamond with maximum visual impact, choose an elongated shape.
Is insurance recommended, and can Fascinating Diamonds help with it?
Yes, we always recommend insuring your diamond against loss or theft. We can assist you by providing an appraisal, which can help you insure your jewelry.
Is financing available?
Yes, we offer flexible financing options at checkout, so you can make your purchase more manageable without compromising on size or quality. You can pay back the price of your diamond over a 12-month tenure. To opt for easy financing, simply select Affirm as your payment method during checkout.

What’s the upgrade or trade-in policy?
We offer a lifetime upgrade policy for all GIA and IGI-graded 2 carat colorless diamonds. However, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- You can upgrade diamonds purchased only from us and not from other jewelers, so there’s no trade-in policy.
- The previous diamond must be in good condition.
- Upgrades are offered on a like-for-like basis—lab-grown for lab-grown or natural for natural. Switching between natural and lab-grown may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- You’ll receive a credit of 100% of your original diamond’s price, which can be applied toward a new diamond that is at least twice the value of the original.
