Our self proclaimed  “Queen of Halloween”, Bridget Marquardt has undoubtedly bewitched the American film director, Nick Carpenter with her magic of love as the happy couple has revealed the news of their engagement with the pic of a unique diamond engagement ring crafted in the shape of a spider. According to English folklore, discovering a spider in the wedding dress is a good omen…well then definitely a spider wedding ring must be the bearer of many happy days to come. Bridget Marquardt, The Girls Next Door star met her future husband Nicholas Andre Carpenter in the Playboy Mansion during the shoot of the movie The Telling, under direction of Nick Carpenter only. That acquaintance simultaneously led to the ignition of love in between these two and the relation between them deepened as time passed by. Since 2008, they have been inseparable and now after seven years, this couple has decided to exchange the holy vows. This sprightly lassie has shared the new in her unique style, posting a photo of her hand flaunting the exclusive diamond engagement ring, placed over the hand of her charming beau along with a tag of “Till death do us apart”. She also captioned in the photo, “Happy Oct. 1st!!! Oh…and … Did I mention @nicholascarpenter and I are engaged?” The understanding is an ingredient that binds the relationships together and the long romancing period of this couple only portrays the strength of their bond. In 2011, she disclosed to Your Tango, her views on relationship, “I have heard that people want to marry their best friends, I think that should be partially true. You want someone you can sit with in sweats, plus go out with.” She further also added, “You want to have them a lot of best friend qualities, but you want to make sure that you have the spice and passion that you wouldn’t have with your best friend. You want the relationship to be one step beyond that.” Appears she was talking from the experience she was having with Nick, who lends ear to her worries and shoulder during her grief as a friend while never fails to dazzle her with romantic gestures. Our soon-bride-to-be has been on a recent trip to Halloween themed Disneyland trip with her former Playmate Holly Madison perhaps to celebrate the advent of that big day. There is magic in night when pumpkins glow by moonlight…, our Bridget seems to be believer of that, though in this case it is the glow of spidery ring casting the spell of love and happiness. Though to some it may appear as a bizarre choice of ring but our girl achieved the specific one she had her eyes set on. Earlier in 2010, she conveyed to E! News about her hunt on engagement ring, “I see a lot of ugly rings on people and I think, ew, I wouldn’t want that. Some of them are so gaudy with so many different diamonds on them. I would want something very clean.” So, when our bride to be is ecstatic, nothing else remains to be said. Bridget and Nick, who are so in love, must be busy in jubilation now at the prospect of spending the rest of their lives together and we look forward to that day when they will tie the knot. Who knows what surprise our Bridget has stored up in her sleeves for the wedding day? Anyhow, we are very elated to hear the news and extend our very best wishes to the happy couple and of course to their happily ever after.
